Through My Window

The season of Lent and a dusty treadmill set in motion the writing of this book. The accompanying view through a basement window of the changing seasons inspired contemplation on God’s Word and on god’s faithfulness to us throughout the seasons of life. The resulting reflections are in your hands, along with photographs taken through that basement window, and elsewhere. While there are forty sections, a Biblically significant number, their scope covers all the seasons of the year. Setting out on a different path, novelist Carolyn Tyree Feagans wrote this devotional in part to share cherished memories of her quest to know God, plus particular experiences and truths she has learned along the way- to five hope to the traveler on this earthly journey, for all of us encounter troubles on its rocky roads and in its deep waters. As you make your way through these pages, consider how God reaches out to us- and how we might reach out to Him. Relax and enjoy His beautiful creation through the photographs.
