Official synopsis Publisher

What would a Benedictine monk, a witch, the Knights Templars, a Sultan, a farm boy and a Greek pirate have in common? The answer is a beautiful young woman named Rachael. Set in the 12th century, a time of social unrest, and the desire to secure Jerusalem from the infidels. The Templar’s Heart is the story of a seasoned Templar knight (Thomas), and the young woman he saves from the fate of her mother, who was persecuted for witchcraft. The witch left Thomas a letter he believes to be a prophecy. He acts according to the fate this letter dictates. He falls in love with Rachael, who is being pursued by her betrothed Gregory. In his misguided search for Rachael, Gregory gets mixed up with a charismatic Greek Pirate, and his hedonistic crew. Thomas disobeys the dictates of his order, travels with Rachael and an army of knights to Jerusalem. They face the Sultan Sal-a-din, at the battle of Hattin. The battle is lost, and Rachael is captured. In an amazing twist of events, Rachael must be rescued by her long searching, Gregory. But, can Gregory overcome his hurt, his anger, and his Captain’s influence to save his lost love?
