After completion of the book, it got stored away in the small home library of author Shane Weber’s childhood home. Many years later, and completely forgotten about, the book was pulled off of the bookshelf for his kids to enjoy. His kids loved it, and he hopes that yours do to. The story was inspired by an argument with a school friend that left the author with no friends for a short time. It’s about being left out, how bad that feels, and ultimately being accepted again by your friends and how good that feels…like a lightning bolt to the chest.
