Official synopsis Publisher
In the first book, Rache! Hitler makes very different decisions than the “real time line Hitler.” He puts Germany on a total war economy in 1939; he does not cancel the jet fighter (He 178/290) program; he waits for the British to invade Norway first so he can bring Norway and Sweden into the war as Germany’s allies; there is no “miracle at Dunkirk,” and the BEF surrenders; and he keeps Italy from entering the war until July 1940. The war in North Africa is very different. Rommel is sent to Libya in July 1940 and leads an Italo-German force of 300,000 invades Egypt in July 1940 and the Germans and Italians form a joint command. The different course of the war affect events far beyond the European theater of war, changing the outcome of the American presidential elections and the events between China and Japan.
