This book is part of a series that gives you a look into the life and struggles of Roscoe Abell. Roscoe is one of the founders of the Hidden Valley Kings. The name came from their neighborhood which is called Hidden Valley. HVK was featured on the hit TV series Gangland. Roscoe Abell has been a feature in the Urban magazine ASIS. Roscoe has spent approximately 25 years out of his 43 years in prison. While in prison, Mr. Abell transformed the revolutionary culture. He transformed his criminal mentality into a revolutionary mentality. He is a redeemed man who follows the ideology of “New Afrikan Revolutionary Nationalist.” He is also the assistant Chairman of the WL NOLEN MENTORSHIP PROGRAM, which Kijana Tashiri Askari started in 2012. Mr Abell now goes by the Afrikan name “Kamau Askari Kambon.” The WL NOLEN MENTORSHIP PROGRAM is a community-based abolition organization constructed to provide the people of our communities with to connect with conscious black revolutionaries on many fronts. Roscoe is working with black kids in hopes that he can at least minimize gang violence. This is his story, his life as a King. The Kings are descendants of another organization called the Almighty Vice Lords, which was started in Chicago. Others have tried to give you his story to no avail.
