You’ll find in this story, the third from author, Janet Pattison-Lucas, a strong message about conservation, inclusion of birds with disabilities which is obviously meant to be extrapolated to people with disabilities being capable and valued members of society and portraying team work to achieve goals.
Janet also touches on children reading. She wants to encourage children to read but understands it can be a struggle for some. She subtly points out that reading provides greater knowledge which gives power to people to achieve more with their life.
Janet has given us a children’s book with a number of great and subtle messages but she has also included humour and humility.
You will find that this story has an easy flow and will keep the reader enthralled until the very end.
