On cold autumn nights, he donned dusty clothes and quilts, taken from tattered cardboard boxes, and was lulled to sleep by the bedtime stories of a friendly family of spiders called The Crawleys. An affection for lofty places, he now lives in Orlando, Florida, in a home that contains no attic, but does have a musty, humid crawl space for hiding things.
