Official synopsis Publisher

Revelation was initially written to a people who understood a logic which presented information in a back and forth, turn around manner. We might call the circular logic. Time lines jump back and forth. Subjects change without being announced. Imagery is common. If you don’t think so, do a serious study of the prophets of the Bible. Then comes Western thinking where everything is linear. 1 is followed by 2 and so forth. Everything is to be outlined and cataloged. Our problem with Revelation is that we have tried to interpret 2000 year old Eastern thought with a Western perspective. Most of what Westerners get is confusion. This is what I have seen as Westerners preach on Revelation. I used to avoid the book of Revelation like the plague. When I heard various people expound it, my spirit kept saying “No. No. No.” Then I found myself being drawn into the book. At first I tried the charts and the usual stratagems to no avail. Then I gave up and just read the book for what it says. Very, very slowly the book began to unfold. After spending thousands of hours with God and the book of Revelation, my hope is that I have found insights which unravel most of the text in a way that is understandable in today’s Western culture. Please give me credit for one thing. While most of the book can be understood, I found that many future events were beyond my comprehension. When this happened, I had the sense to stop speculating and tell you so rather than charge on into speculation and call it truth. even with that, 80% of the book is now understandable. You can stick with your Western mind set or perhaps you can take a chance on looking at Revelation through different eyes. I think you will be amazed. As a side note, I have presented this book to two people who have their PHDs in theology. They both had the same response. What they said was, essentially, that while everything I said made sense, they would have to discard everything they had ever learned in order to understand what I was saying. Let me interpret this for you. This book is not the same old same old, and get ready for a challenge if you choose to read it.I wish you well, ROHO
