Plant Anatomy

The branch of biology that studies the internal structure of plants is referred to as plant anatomy. This field includes microscopy of plants and the sectioning of its tissues. The study of plant anatomy uses systems approach which is based on the plant’s activities. These activities are flowering, seed development, pollination and nutrient transport.
