Ron Abraham was born on the 21st of November 1941, in the Caribbean island of Dominica. After high school he emigrated to the UK, as Dominica was, at that time, a British Colony. The Motivation he had inculcated in him from the many sayings of his mother, relatives and peers propelled him to study Electrical, Telecoms and Electronics engineering, he went on to become a Fellow Member of the Institute of Engineering and Technology with letters F.I.E.T and is registered in the Engineering board of UK as Engineer Technician. He returned to the land of his birth in February 1979 where he formed Marpin Telecoms and Broadcasting, now Marpin 2k4, which was the first Cable Television Company in the entire English Speaking Caribbean. Ron Abraham wrote a book called MONOPOLY BREAKER which covers the struggles and triumphs, including breaking of the monopoly of the Telecoms giant Cable and wireless now Lime on the island. (It can be purchased online from BARNES and NOBLE, AMAZON and Authorhouse publishing.) This new book was written in an attempt to help to refocus attention on what is important in life here and thereafter.
