My Sweet Prince

Daryle Arkins and Joan Selly finally get together and discuss what to do for summer jobs. Rather than work at the local mall, they develop a business of their own. As Yard and Garden workers, they do the menial tasks that home owners just don’t have the time to do.

They begin with home made advertisements that are destroyed by a troubled classmate. The jobs start slowly and small. Their love grows as their business grows. To some it seemed a whirlwind romance, the engagement too soon.

A lucky break, a not so understanding mom, and a hilarious incident lead to the beginnings of business becoming more than just a summer job.

Joan is there for Daryle and his dad when mom becomes ill.

The emotional loss of mom bring the team closer, more funny incidents happen with another expansion in the business.

Team members are couples that connect and work together well. An outsider wants to take over the business, but the team maintain a trust throughout the community not to sell out.

Eager to learn every aspect of the business, Joan works the field, the office and tries her hand at mechanics. Daryle struggles with Joan’s odd sense of humor, not quite understanding why she laughs so hard at his mishaps.

Together at last, the pair are truly in love and save themselves for their wedding night, alone, with no interruptions.
