My Early Morning Cry

Like Aaron and Hur who accompanied Moses on the mount to intercede for Israel, while Joshua and the Israelites fought the Amalekites, our intercessory team has been that for Bethel. This has been a ministry undergirded by prayer. Members who have exercised themselves in this great privilege of standing in the gap, have multiple testimonies of the gracious hand of God at work in our behalf. This has and is continuing to be an awesome journey of faith. May this material be used to help inspire and challenge many within the body of Christ to put on the mantle of prayer and intercession. Thanks to Pastor Berta Kai who has been led to document a portion of our journey of faith in Bethel as it relates to prayer and fasting. Amen! Lawrence E. Kennedy Sr. Pastor, BWOMI, Atlanta Berta Miata Sesay Kai is an ordained minister of the gospel. She lives in Buford Georgia with her family. She is a member of the prayer team and pastor assigned to the children’s Ministry at her church. Berta is a graduate of Charis Bible College in Atlanta. She also holds a MSN in Nursing from the Boston University, Mass. Berta currently works as a clinical supervisor at one of the local hospitals near Atlanta.
