Maya The Magnificent

Maya the Magnificent! is the story of a beautiful angel, named Maya, who visits Earth and captures the hearts of the Collins family who fall in love with their new bundle of joy. But alas, some angels are just too pure and too bright to live on Earth, and Maya must return to Heaven after cancer dims her natural light. It is based on the true story of Maya Collins, who valiantly battled leukemia for 6 1/2 years, and passed away on October 3, 2017 at St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital. A touching story, sprinkled throughout with Maya’s whimsicle drawings, that tries to make sense of such a tragedy and provides comfort to families dealing with a similar loss of a child. Net proceeds from the sale of this book benefit the Live Like Maya Foundation to help raise funds for research, better treatment options, and cures for pediatric cancer as well as to help alleviate the financial burdens for families managing childhood cancer.
