Author Biography: Derek Mahon was born in Belfast. A journalist, screenwriter, and theater critic, he has published several works of poetry. He is a member of the Royal Society of Literature and has won many awards, including the Lannan Award and the C. K. Scott-Moncrieff Translation Prize.

Represents the best of Irish poet Derek Mahon’s five principal volumes, from “Night-Crossing” (1968) to “The Hunt By Night” (1982), and collects his more recent work, including “Antarctica” (1985).
