What a powerful combination to have on your side. In the fall of 1960, just discharged from the air force I was pretty much a lost soul. Several circumstances cut me to the core. During that lost time, I often won- dered if love would ever enter my life again. I had faith that someday I would find my lifetime again but had no idea how or when. Things happened in May of 1961. My sister Alice fixed me up with my very first ever blind date. It was with Lee. Faith did its job and the rest was up to us. We fell in love on that first date. It was our fate. On March 10, 1962, fate closed the deal on our lives. We were married and stayed as such for one month short of 62 years. In my mind, faith and fate are not done with us. Fate took Lee on Feb. 9, 2024. Now, the rest is up to faith. When my time comes, I have faith that we will continue our love affair in heaven above for all eternity.
