Gordon Ramsay, 41 ans, avec au total 10 étoiles au Michelin, est LA superstar britannique de la restauration ! Écossais de naissance mais élevé en Angleterre, Gordon a travaillé pendant 3 ans dans les cuisines de Guy Savoy et de Joël Robuchon avant de devenir en 1993 chef du restaurant Aubergine, où il obtient ses deux premières étoiles. En 1998, il ouvre à Chelsea son premier restaurant, Gordon Ramsay, qui lui vaudra une troisième étoile et sera élu 2 ans plus tard meilleur restaurant d’Angleterre. Il ouvre alors 2 autres établissements dans la capitale anglaise (Gordon Ramsay’s at Claridge et Petrus, doublement étoilé). Son talent dépasse bientôt les frontières d’Angleterre : il ouvre des restaurants au Japon, à Prague, à Dubaï, en Irlande et à New York.
