Sister Giles spent almost twenty-five years in an enclosed convent, before obtaining a dispensation allowing her to live outside the community. Since then she has, over the years, given many talks and conducted “days of quiet”. This small collection of some of her addresses has been put together at the request of The Oasis Group, with whom Sister Giles is privileged to be associated, as well as indebted. Two books of her memoirs, The End and the Beginning and Circle Completed, were published in 2007 and 2011 by The Memoir Club.
