About the Author
Lesley retired from teaching in 2013 and since then has set about fulfilling her lifelong dream, to be a children’s author. Her first book, a collection of stories called “Tales from the Woodpecker Tree” was published in 2017 and “Jojo’s Star” is her second book. Lesley also plans to bring out another picture book “Monty’s Blackbird”, and a collection of Christmas stories will be flying out from the Woodpecker Tree later in the year.
