John Wimber was a spiritual giant, unafraid of seeming ‘a fool for God’, willing to do his will whatever the cost. And what an unlikely servant of God this former rock musician was, capable of playing over 20 instruments, and who, when he first attended a church, searched the pews in vain for the ashtray he was convinced would be there. However, John learnt quickly, was open to God, and always immensely practical.
