Inside Grammie’s Closet is a caregiving memoir by a grand-daughter, turned M.A. Gerontologist, that is laced with humor, old-time stories and grand memories. Grammie was the daughter of a suffragette, once a Flapper in the Roaring Twenties, associated with celebrities, was a horsewoman, a catalyst for aging legislation, and said that she “always was a star…just now, everyone else is finding out.” Together they face many of Grammie’s medical issues, including dementia and cardiac illnesses. Inside Grammie’s Closet includes a 21-tip Guide for Caregivers, and respite caregivers. It is a resource for caregivers, families, friends, business people, and students who face caregiving issues in their lives.
