Heart Mountain

Mark, who has spent his life on a Ranch in Wyoming, graduated from high-school and is attending college near his home. He and his longtime girl friend Carla, love horses and horse racing. His favorite horse, Nochi died, but Nochi sired Carla’s horse Sapphire and now Mark is the owner of Sapphire’s colt Harmony, who inherits her parent’s racing blood and proves to be a great racer. Mark loves ranching, but the sudden death of his father left him in charge of the ranch, which is a big challenge, but he faces it with courage and foresight. Mark has a sister Kati, who encounters two serious mishaps that could take her life. The faithful hired man of many years loses a precious little son from a rattle-snake bite. Carla’s Mother is killed in a plane crash. Mark’s determination to be successful, his unyielding integrity, love of home, and family keep this young man facing life with zeal and courage, regardless of the many conflicts that enter into the story. Radine Banks is a retired teacher, but enjoys returning to the classroom where she tutors students who need her help and encouragement.
