Hands of the Maker

Max drifts through a time dominated by the reign of depraved monarchs and the wrath of an angry Mother Nature. Hundreds of thousands of people have been left homeless by hurricanes, tsunamis, and earthquakes. A major US city has been destroyed by the sea. Almost every nation on the planet has been crippled by recession and the consequences of war. The modern world is spinning out of control around him, yet all Max can do is think about the ancient past. He closes his eyes and dreams of a remote era at the dawn of civilization, an era shrouded in mystery: The first age of gods, kings, and climate change. While Max struggles with his growing obsession, a disillusioned FEMA official leads a group of climate refugees named the Unity Council in an effort to redefine what it means to be a victim of natural disaster in America. Destinies collide on one night in the mysterious San Luis Valley of southern Colorado when Max and the Unity Council join forces in exposing a diabolical conspiracy to a national audience.
