Go Far with Chinese Volume 1b Textbook

Designed for secondary school students with no prior knowledge of Chinese, Go Far with Chinese Level 1B uses a proficiency-based approach to give learners a solid foundation in all four language skills. The seriesx27 emphasis on authentic communicative tasks and activities helps ensure students build the confidence to use their budding language skills and newly acquired cultural knowledge of China in the real world.

In Go Far with Chinese Level 1B, students follow Isabella and Martin Lopez, two American teenagers, as they adjust to their new school in Beijing. Each Chapter brings a new episode in the lives of the Lopezes in the form of an entertaining comic story that combines the Chapter vocabulary and grammar in a novel way. Level 1B covers topics that are both relevant and interesting to teenage language learners, such as school life, student health, and student clubs. The Textbook also features a review unit, which serves to review all of the language students learned in Level 1A.

Level 1B is the second volume in the split edition of Level 1. Levels 1A and 1B teach the same content as Level 1 and are intended to be used for two years at the middle school level or in programs with limited instructional hours.
