I sold about eighty academic/scholarly books to Zubal, and had a very positive experience. It helped that I could just send photos of the books I had, still right on the bookshelves, for them to review.nThey had eighty they wanted to buy, and it was all orderly – their list of books to buy was written in order, photo by photo, so it was easy for me to locate each book. Once I got the books boxed up, I just emailed the weight of each box to Zubal, and they sent me a pre-paid postage label for each box. And because the boxes were pre-paid, our USPS carrier came right to our door to retrieve the (12) boxes. So nice to not have to lug them down to the post office!nThe staff at Zubal was responsive when I had a question. And so I would recommend dealing with them – everything was clear, and straightforward.nOne tip: as you take photos, add a caption to each photo, “#3”, “#4”, “#5” etc. just assigning each a number, so you can have that shared reference.nThanks, Zubal!

Walking through this enormous warehouse of books is like being in a dream. When the door opens, you will immediately notice the smell of books. And the shelves start there in the 'A's right there in the doorway. I want more than to go there every day, I want to pay another person to go and be a professional reader of all the books there.nI've been to great bookstores, this is something unlike those. But I love it.

Two weeks ago, I purchased a second-hand math book from Zubal Books through German Amazon. It was my first time ordering from a third-party seller from the US and I did not know what to expect or think too much into it besides checking the aggregate cost. The book was intact, well-packaged with a cardboard as protection when it reached me in Europe. But I was disappointed at first because the book looked older than the ones I used to receive from European second-hand bookstores for the same stated conditions.nnThe customer service was responsive. I wasn’t expecting a full refund, but Zubal offered to do it. Eventually we did a partial refund and I guess Zubal still suffered a loss, as it did not have a big profit margin to begin with (about 5 EUR for the book and 26 EUR for the postage from US to Europe). So I’m writing a review here as a thank you note, considering the book as a gift. The book is old, but charming in its own way.nnFrom its website, Zubal seems to have many old rare math books, and I’m very interested in purchasing books from there again in the future.
