This is an absolute gem of a place.nnIncredible selection, friendly staff, and a true home for feminists and our friends.nnI went to a book lecture here, given by Jenn Jackson, and enjoyed every second of it.nnIf you're looking to truly invest in your community, or even just the progressive cause, please please please spend your money here. These places are becoming increasingly rare, and we have to support them if we want them to thrive.

Very cozy bookstore featuring feminist and inclusive books. Not only did I purchase a tote bag, I also found two books that spoke to me. Shout out to booktuber, Malissa (bewareofpity) for recommending this bookstore I had yet to discover on my own.

Beautiful sunny book nook with nicely curated collection of feminist literature. Worth a stop after ice cream.

They hosted a ticketed “community event” for the BAMPFA Cha retrospective and when I asked if it was included under Museums for All, crickets. I hate performative places like this. The group was called “radical” ahjumma, what a joke. Offering NOTAFLOF is not even radical these days in the Bay Area, it’s just standard. Not doing so is just capitalist status quo. Next.

I found a beautiful out-of-print short story collection here. The quality of the used books was outstanding. Wonderful selection of titles, with a particular emphasis on women writers. Small, but sweet kids section. I can't wait to see this bookstore grow!
