Ultimate Comics Durham/Chapel Hill

eh, selections are fine. Stores clean and nice looking and they got enough back issues and a couple of rare books worth a look, but a small personal quibble is that this is the ONLY comic shop I've ever been to in 40+ years of collecting this stuff that asked to show ID when making a purchase. Four other people ahead of me in line didn't have to show ID, but on two separate visits to this location, this happened, and while it's not a game breaker, it was enough of a small slide that I doubt I'll make a third trip back to this store and take my dollars elsewhere if their that tight about paying customers.nnAs a side note this was never the case at the store in Cary.

Not ony is this spot beautiful, it's efficiently organized and staffed by people that know comics and understand the culture. Please support this comic book store if you're in the area. Their title selection is great and they have toys set at accessible prices as well as collectors pieces.

Good selection of current issues, and the staff highlights interesting graphic novels. Very helpful staff, subscription is easy.

Ultimate Comics is the best comic, pop, back issue, shop in Durham. The staff is friendly, jovial and knowledgeable about current issues and back stories, they also have tons of Pops, statues and graphic novels. They learn your name, and develop a relationship with you.

This is now one of my favorite comic shops! Has everything and more, displayed in an orderly and easy to navigate way. Customer service was 10/10, I've never had a better experience or interaction at a comic shop before. I will return and I'll send all my friends here as well 🦸🦸‍♀️
