Twice Sold Tales

Very cute spot! Lots of books at accessible prices, mostly second hand but in great condition. There are several cats running around and sleeping around the place. The kitties are friendly so long as you respect their space and don’t startle them! The store is expansive and has nearly every genre, including an LGBTQ nook. Great place worth checking out if you’re in the area!

The staff was very friendly and helpful! They had a variety of different books. My favorite is mytholog, and I was able to get a coupl of books, which was impressive! It's very clean and organized. The cats were absolutelyadorable — it was nice to have them walk by or come say hello while looking at the different books! I wish I had taken more pictures. I highly recommend stopping in and checking it out ♡

Books and cats!!! Perfect combination. It is a big place with a great variety of books, specially if you are a science fiction fan, and prices for all pockets. The cats are a huge plus. The staff is friendly.

really unique, cozy little book store. its definitely chaotic, but thats what makes it so charming! ideal for people who want to spend the time to hunt for treasures rather than grab-and-go. the woman working the front counter was very chatty and knowledgeable and I enjoyed my conversation with her. if you're lucky, you'll get to see one (or many) cats! its so hard for small businesses in Seattle anymore, lets make sure to support them while we still have them.

Wonderful used bookstore, complete with (at the time, 6!) rescue cats who prowl around the store. The selection of used fiction and SF/F is quite enormous, and they’ve got a huge selection of older titles! Also, the cats are just adorable and worth petting
