Rizzoli Bookstore is truly one of the most beautiful and thoughtfully curated bookstores I’ve ever visited.nnFrom the moment you walk in, you feel transported. The collection is exceptional — art, architecture, fashion, photography, literature — each section carefully selected and displayed with intention. Even the records for sale reflect the same refined taste and aesthetic sensibility. It’s not just a bookstore; it’s an experience. Every shelf invites you to linger.nnThe atmosphere is elegant yet welcoming — warm light, soaring ceilings, and that quiet reverence that only a great bookstore can create. It feels like a place where meaningful moments are meant to happen.nnOn a personal note, the store became the setting for one of the most important days of our lives. Dayeana was gracious, discreet, and incredibly kind in helping a surprise marriage proposal unfold seamlessly within the space. We’ll always be grateful — and we’ll always associate Rizzoli with pure joy.nnWe can’t wait to return!

I LOVE this bookstore. It is my favorite one in NYC! First of all, on a surface level, the design is STUNNING and feels like it’s a shop that came out of a movie. The employees are all wonderful and very full of information and help! The selection is amazing, too. I highly recommend spending an afternoon here.

Beautiful bookstore in Midtown/Flatiron! The store is lined with wooden bookcases and paintings above the bookshelves of a partly cloudy sky. They have a nice selection of fiction books and even an Italian book section. I especially liked their section at the front of the store dedicated to NY books and souvenirs and also enjoyed browsing their photography books.

They've improved their selection, lots of interesting biographies and well sectioned bookshop. It is fancy, expensive but if you don't shop at these places they wont exist. Bought a couple of great books and will be back to shop again.

Absolutely beautiful bookstore with incredibly condescending staff. My only interaction involved asking for help locating three titles and being told that “our books are organized with the authors last name first, not their first initial first, so if you can’t find it on the back wall we don’t have it”.nnDoing what we love is a luxury not all of us are afforded, and I genuinely hope the young girl that (didn’t) help me finds something that makes her as happy as the phone she didn’t look up from.nnFoster, Grace
