Finally, a Black-owned bookstore in Vegas! R.D. Talley Books is exactly what this city has been missing. From the moment you walk in, you can tell this place was created with intention and care.nThe space is beautifully designed, and the selection is impressive. They’ve got everything from biographies and history to sci-fi, Christian inspiration, and contemporary fiction. I appreciated seeing so many voices and perspectives represented on the shelves books you won’t always find front and center at the big chains. The staff was welcoming and knowledgeable, happy to help without being pushy. You can tell they actually care about connecting people with books they’ll love.nIt’s still relatively new, but R.D. Talley is already an important part of the community. If you’re in Vegas and love books or if you’ve been looking for a bookstore that reflects the full richness of Black literature and culture make the trip. This is the kind of business we need to support and celebrate.​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​

RD Tally Books is a genuine little oasis inside the chaos of Caesars Palace.nnKarina at the front desk was incredibly kind and emotionally attentive — she let me exist in the space, browse at my own pace, and genuinely made the experience feel calm and welcoming. That alone is rare in Vegas.nnThe shop itself has a beautifully curated, smaller collection of books on display, and more than that, it has a real hometown bookstore feeling. The owners and staff are warm, appreciative, and make you feel like a human being rather than a transaction.nIn a city that’s often loud, rushed, and overwhelming, this place feels like a soft exhale — quiet, cozy, thoughtful, and genuinely pleasant to be in.nnIf you’re looking for a bookstore with heart, a wonderful concierge, and a comforting, grounded vibe amidst all the Vegas noise, I can’t recommend RD Tally Books enough.

We happened by this place the other day. We are locals, and we were just wandering around the strip with no plan… getting some exercise I guess. We don't expect to find stuff in our price range around there, which makes it a little boring sometimes. We saw the sign from a lower level and made our way up there, curious about the new shop. Gald we did. We had a nice conversation with the owner, and found a couple of interesting sci fi books for our collection, at prices that would be great anywhere (even off strip). Tons of interesting items in this store. We also bought a couple of cans of pop for our walk down the mall, which really hit the spot. We found ourselves talking about the place all week, and how much of a nice surprise it was. We told some friends about it already. I hope travellers will find this spot to get a book to read by the pool, or for their flight home. I hope locals and strip employees will find like we did, a reason to walk this part of the strip again… not to mention a place to grab a cold soft drink, without blowing the whole budget for the night. I am sure we will see you again soon!

I loved this bookstore. The atmosphere was welcoming, and the owner, Mr. RD Talley, was wonderful to talk to about all things books. He’s very down-to-earth and has a great selection of diverse books, art, and refreshments. I went home with a well-loved book for my bookshelf!

We stumbled upon this bookstore while in Vegas. It was such a nice surprise to visit and also meet the owner. He had a nice selecting is new and used books of many different genres for all ages. If you're in Vegas check it out in Caesar's Palace 3rd floor. You won't be disappointed!!
