My husband and I are a magic duo new to Logan Square, and Peter, the co-owner, kindly let us put our show flyers in his store. It was such a generous and welcoming gesture 💫nnI love how grounded and community-focused Quimby’s is. Spaces like this make a neighborhood feel alive with creativity and local spirit. As newcomers, we already feel right at home.nnThank you for supporting local art! We love you!

I visited this quirky second-hand bookstore on my Chicago trip and I left with a few hidden gems. I love the poetry books I found and it’s reasonably priced. $7-$10. This place is located in the heart of Wicker Park and it’s close by local restaurants and clothing shops.

There’s no other place like Quimby’s ❤️ amazing bookstore, really great for zines by small independent artists, comics and a large variety of small press. The selections varies and changes constantly but it’s always good and rare. You will find weird pieces and that’s the best. The staff it’s sooo nice. Definitely a safe space!

A well-curated collection of Zines and other things! Things were well-priced and they had a wonderful selection of diverse topics and authors. Prepare to spend some time exploring in here!

I drove there. Unfortunately, there was a lot of traffic. It took us more than an hour to get there, but we are not from Chicago and we really wanted to check this place out. It says they close at 6pm (also at the door, it says 6pm) we got there at 5:43 and the store was closed already. Two staff members were right there. They saw us and just said “we are closed”. They didn’t even bother to offer snd explanation or come to apologize or anything. Just “we are closed” when we had almost 20 minutes… so rude.
