Powell’s Books at PDX

Within 30 seconds of walking in, I was recommended an incredible book by a wonderful member of staff,Gray It’s so refreshing to speak with someone knowledgeable, passionate, and genuinely helpful. It’s rare to find people who truly know what they’re talking about. The company should be proud to have them on the team—and they should be equally proud to represent such a company.

It's a tiny Powell's store with a very small selection of books. Most of the books are brand new books, and the used book selection is even smaller. The Cedar Hills location or the Burnside location are much better bookstores.

Perfect pit stop at PDX to browse and pick up a book before flying off for a vacation! Already looking forward to reading my new book on Kaua’i.

Great selection of books for such a small location, there's also a kiosk for travelers past security with a more limited selection. The staff is very helpful, each knowledgeable in their own area, they're not pushy and love to hear about your latest great read. They also have a good amount of kids books and an assortment of toys, gifts, and puppets. It's like the sample size of the larger store downtown, Powell's City of Books.
