Powells is the perfect book store. So many books, organized in clear sections and fun design. The staff is also very friendly. It’s great to still have a place to just walk in silence and browse books.

More than books, Powell’s offers gift items and comfortable seating in a spacious environment. The isles are well labeled and the staff friendly. And when you are done, they but back your books

This is a smaller version of the downtown mega Powells store. But it’s not missing anything! Huge book selection plus gifts and goodies. They even have a station for used book buying although it was closed during my visit.

While not as large as Powell's downtown location, this store still impresses with its size and selection. You'll find a vast array of books across different genres, as well as cards, puzzles, games, toys, and more. They also carry Powell's branded merchandise, such as mugs and t-shirts, just like their downtown store. A big plus is the ample parking, which makes visiting much easier compared to the parking challenges downtown. They regularly host a variety of events, adding to the lively atmosphere. You can even bring in books to sell, making it a great spot for both browsing and trading.

This review is specific to Powell's book buy back program. We went on a Sunday at 2:00 to sell back about 25 books. We got there and there were roughly 15 people in line. Powell's only offers buy back time of Fri-Sun for a handful of hours. There were only two people working the counter while three other staff were just standing back, chatting with each other. We ended up leaving as the line was not moving. I miss the old days when you could go in any time and there were plenty of people to help.nnPowell's itself is a cool space, even in Beaverton.
