Avoid This Place at All CostsnnI will never step foot in this shop again. They had a poster awkwardly lying on the floor — even the employee admitted it was poorly placed — and the moment I lightly tapped it with my foot, they accused me of breaking it and forced me to pay for it. For all I know, it was already damaged before I even touched it.nnInstead of handling it professionally, the guy working there went on a power trip and said, “If I went into your house and broke your stuff…” — seriously? How about proving it was me that broke it?nnThis was a shady, uncomfortable experience from start to finish. Rude staff, zero accountability, and a vibe that makes you question what kind of place this really is. With so many great comic shops out there that actually respect their customers, there’s no reason to waste your time or money here.nnYou’ve been warned.
Do not preorder anything from Mike Chavez. I preordered cards from him and paid in full. He never sent me the cards, kept making excuses on why I did not get the cards. After 3 months of waiting I requested a refund. It’s been 3 months and he still hasn’t sent me my money back. He says I’ll have to go to a lawyer and have them send a demand letter. Avoid this scammer at all cost.
The older guy was friendly & helpful. However, after purchasing $250+ of TCG while visiting Vegas.. I got home, on the east coast, to open my booster box. Only to realize the packs were resealed & filled with all random bulk cards, upside down, backwards & whatnot.nnIt’s really a shame, I asked for a refund for just my booster box, as all the other things bought were great. It was declined. If you’re visiting this store, just make sure to check everything more thoroughly than I did. Not sure if it was their doing or not.
Lots of different stuff to see in there, some great Pokémon items as well.
Warning: Avoid this business and Michael Chavez at all costs. We ordered product worth nearly $10,000, and after months of delays, fake tracking numbers, and broken promises, we still haven't received it. The owner, Michael, repeatedly lied about refund dates, holding our money for over 4 weeks after we requested it back; this was after waiting 3 months for the product and getting the run-around from Michael. This was almost borderline felony fraud in Nevada, and we were on the verge of pursuing legal action, reporting them to the FTC, and notifying the mall owner. Save yourself the headache and shop elsewhere.
