I was sold a $289 book with no binding to it. I was told by the instructor of that course it could be sold back to the bookstore.nnCome to find out they do not buy back these books without an unused code. When the instructor had the book with a spine on it paid for by the school. I know because he boasted about his access to free books through the school.nnI threw the book away. Thanks for nickeling and diming me Metro State.

A very inconvenient place to return books, if you have a full time job. I contacted them and told them I cannot make it when they are open. They charged me late fees. Horrible empathy and customer service. Get digital books only.

The bookstore honestly has no flexibility when it comes to being a working student they charge outrageous late/damage fees. Apparently they will send you into collections if you don’t pay for a textbook which is ridiculous. trying my hardest to avoid having to use this bookstore my last two semesters because I get a headache every time I walk into this place and have to deal with employees. I received a textbook that was full of highlighter marks that made my reading distracting for me and yet that was OK to sell, but because my textbook had very minor water damage none which actually ruined the text. I was forced to buy the textbook for a higher cost, then it was worth.

The lady answered the phone call was rude and not professional, I wonder why she is answering the calls if the store not open and not clarifying that the store was closed , I call and asked the availability of the books and I told I want come now and she ensured me they have the books. But never mentioned the closure of the store I took 30 minutes break from work and drove to the building but unfortunately is closed.

I've just started going to this school this semester, and I am so pleased with the decision I've made. I love this school the teachers are fantastic. The people are great, down to earth, passionate people who are all there to learn and enjoy their time doing so. Everyone is helpful, you just have to ask. I haven't had a problem so far, and if I do encounter one, I'm sure it won't be something that anyone hasn't encountered somewhere else. Overall, fantastic school. Great learning environment! I recommend to anyone ready to learn and get their education. As for the bookstore, I'm in there everyday, got all my supplies from there and they have cheap books for leisure reading, and the staff are great people too.
