Mass Art Supply & Book Store

The store is very big and has a little of everything, as you can see from my pictures.nnA lot of things were out of stock (like the whole section of textile), but I guess it is understandable in the very beginning of the academic year.nnIn general – a very useful place in this location of Boston, as everything else with crafts and art supplies is not close by… except the Tufts art store near MFA, but it is tiny and doesn't have much.

This is the first time I came here since 2020, and the store is not open to the public anymore. I called before coming and the message on their phone does not suggest that it’s open for the school community only. The security person was pretty rude and told me that they do not want visitors. I was wearing a mask and I had my vaccination record. I wish the store communicated their new policy more clearly.

The staff there is very friendly, and the place is nice and clean! If you need something specific or quick they have a lot of materials 😀

The gentleman that assisted us, didn't get his name but he was around 40 w/ beard and glasses, thank So much for your help. You were patient and very friendly!!!

Items overpriced, especially for college students. A pack of 24 crayons will go for $3.05 here when in Target you can get 90 for $2.99.
