Main Street Books

Lovely store. What a gem! Lafayette is lucky to have such a cute little bookstore. Plus, they let us bring our dog inside.

This place is so charming! You can browse a huge variety of gently used (practically new) books at great prices, and then cozy up with your books and a cup of coffee in their cute seating area. They even have a shelf up front with little freebies for both adults and kids (some mad libs books, etc). If you haven’t stopped in here yet, you really should!

Favorite bookstore in town, hands down! The staff are so sweet and knowledgeable, the book selection is vast, and they have a fun novelty section.

This is a great and friendly place to build a community. It has books of different genres, including authors related to Lafayette, and creates its special charm, which is hard to find at a large chain bookstore. I also appreciate that the owner actively gets involved in the community.
