Such warmth when you step in the door! For only 400 square feet, they pack in as much variety as they can, and are quick with a special order for a title they don’t have on hand. Love visiting!
Madison Books is a beautiful bookstore! It is in a fun neighborhood. This is my second trip here. It feels a little magical. Maybe it's the whimsy, Maybe it is the great selection of curated books, maybe something special that is indescribable. I really enjoyed my chat with the bookseller and they were lovely with other customers too. I went in for one book and came out with two.
Cozy bookshop just a couple blocks from Lake Washington with books clear to the tall ceilings. Staff was very kind with a welcome sense of humor, and even grabbed a book off a higher shelf just so I could see the blurb before returning it to the shelf.nnMy favorite characteristics were the scrabble tiles labeling each section, and the recommendations display near the window.
Small but awesome book store with a great selection of modern books. They have a nice children's and young adults section too. They also have cool puzzles and stationary cards. Great place!
