Las Vegas Books

This gem of a bookstore is tucked away near the University District and is absolutely worth dropping in whether you're in the area or make a special trip to visit. The inventory is extensive if somewhat eclectic; it feels the way a bookstore should feel. There's something for everyone here, including history, spirituality, vintage paperbacks, and local history. I was impressed with the variety of sci-fi, fantasy, and popular romance books available as well as the robust children's book area. The best part is they buy used books every day, so there's always something new coming in! They will even set you up with an account and call or email if book you're searching for becomes available. I'm looking forward to my next visit.

I love this shop! It is exactly what I picture when I long for a trip to the book store. So many shelves, overflowing with books of all kinds. I have picked up some truly great finds here.nnThere is an extensive collection of vintage magazines that is great for nostalgia and junk journaling. The staff is helpful and friendly. Highly recommend!

I walked almost 3 miles to get there (other options are available) and loved it. So much choice and knowledgeable, friendly people. Clearly not a popular destination for most travelers to Las Vegas who are looking for something errrr different. But if you find yourself in the area and like a great 2nd hand bookshop this is excellent.

Had a fantastic time at Las Vegas Books today. Travelled 2 hours by bus to get to the location as I read great reviews and it didn‘t disappoint. All 3 ladies were really nice and welcomed you but let you browse as long as you wanted and said if I needed assistance to let them know. I did inquire about more John Grisham books and UFO books and the lovely lady immediately pointed me to the right direction and showed me. I got myself 4 books for my birthday in July as I won‘t be in Vegas then and my boyfriend gave me his credit card. I also have my eyes on 3 more books and told them I‘ll come back in October when I return to browse further. The lovely lady did advise me that I can bring back the books I have purchased for some store credit and I will definitely be doing that.nHad such a great time and could have spend much longer in the store but my hands got full already. Now I know what they have and each time I‘ll be in Vegas I make my way with the RTC buses from Henderson to their location. I'm so happy this bookstore opened in my neighborhood. It has a great selection of books and I could spend hours skimming the shelves for something new to read.nThey also buy books, but are very particular about what they select. One thing I did love to see is a little Art Corner supporting local artists.nThis is a great place if you're looking for a specific book or just looking to get lost in a bookstore. Highly recommend!
