My wife and I got the chance to go to All Day Restaurant after church recently. The weather was great so we sat outside. Our server was extremely patient and gave us good recommendations for what to order. I tried the Kramer’s breakfast and my wife tried the chicken and waffles (she did sub the cheddar chive waffle for a plain waffle). The breakfast was filling. I would say I highly recommend this spot. Lucky we got a spot it was packed.
I treated my work team to Afternoon Tea. We enjoyed everything. I loved the soft-on-the-inside scones! One colleague loved the macaroons and another's fave was the egg sandwich. The selection of teas also had something for everyone.
We were crazy hungry going in. Took a while to be seated as always. It is a busy place.nnFood was good and fresh as always! It's not my first time going here. Would definitely recommend this place for brunch. Haven't been here at night.nnItems ordered:n1. French Toast 5⭐n2. Chicken Sandwich 4⭐n3. Mushroom Lasagna 5⭐ must try
I am all about anything that combines with a bookshop, and Kramers gets it very right! The menu is a celebration of mortadella and I am here for it! Though to be fair I’ve only had one option. It’s just so good that I can’t bring myself to try anything else! The mortadellabreakfast sandwich is out of this world. Greasy and cheesy and heart warming! They met the cheese inside of the mortadella slices, genius! I would love to say that I want to go back to try more but I don’t know if I can have eyes for any other plate!
This is one of my favorite restaurants! I love breakfast and brunch food, and Kramers has excellent food. Prices are pretty reasonable, and they also take inKind for 20% cashback. It's a bit cramped, though, and the service could definitely use additional training and organization skills/strategies.nnDrinks…nnChai latte: Good, though the chai was a little weaker than I prefer. Not too sweet, which I love.nnLatte: Good, and definitely worth getting again. Not too sweet, and the cold foam is a nice complement.nnPeach Gatsby: Very nice! Not too sweet, which can be hard to find.nnScarlet Cooler: Good, but I think we preferred the Peach Gatsby.nnFood…nnChicken and waffles: Good. The waffle definitely leans savory, rather than just being a normal waffle with chicken slapped on top.nnChicken pot pie: A little mild, but the vegetables were fresh and the dish was great overall.nnCinnamon French toast: Absolutely amazing! I also like the portion size.nnCrab deviled eggs: Delicious. I regretted only getting one order.nnKramers Benedict (with crab cake): Good, but the crab cakes had a lot of filler; I prefer lump crab cake. I'd recommend their ham version instead.nnKramers Benedict (with ham): I'm pretty picky about eggs benedict, and this was very good. Almost on par with The Smith, and a few bucks less here. (Maybe $4 cheaper?)nnMediterranean falafel wrap: Awesome. I really hope they add it back to the menu.nnPumpkin-spiced waffle: One of the best waffles I've ever had. Fresh whipped cream, prominent pumpkin taste without being overpowering, and delicious special syrup. So glad fall is just starting!nnSummer pesto pasta: The only dish we weren't crazy about. A little bland, and oily to a gross extent. Maybe they had an off-day?nnWeekday tea service from 2–5pm…nnOverall, this was not a very enjoyable experience that I would repeat. The tea tower for two is about $32/person (including tax, service fee, and tip). The food was pretty good (and the cinnamon tea was delicious), but there were a lot more sweets than sandwiches. Lady Camellia, for example, has much higher value.nnCase in point about the service needing additional support from management.n1) I booked a reservation well ahead of the event.n2) When I called to confirm, someone told me they actually don't take reservations for afternoon tea.n3) When we got there, the hostess couldn't find our reservation and only seated us after I presented my confirmation email and call history.n4) Our waiter was extremely unfamiliar with the menu. He kept trying to modify our order to cost more and/or provide less food. We had to keep politely correcting him by pointing at the menu.n5) They didn't have enough tea menus, teapots, hourglasses, trays, or towers — and kept coming back to ask if they could take ours. We were only there for 75 minutes.n6) The waiter gave us the wrong directions on how long to steep the tea. I had to pull out my phone for the digital menu. If you don't know, it's better to say so than be wrong.
