Nice building and people but don't come here if you are looking for Chicago Kent gear. Almost everything is online.

The book store is clean and well organized, with a wide variety of stationary for ones academic needs. The staff was congenial and helpful. That said, the price point is consistent with other college book stores, namely on the high end for the materials provided.

The person responsible in the store was rude and condescending in front of other customers in the store. I rented a book that wasn't in a great condition. When I returned it he suggested I had destroyed the binding, that he would never rent out a book like that. I had tried to return the book because it turned out I didn't need it, but the first week of class, when you are able to return them, had already finished. Mind you, I rented it on Friday of said week. The return period should be longer because you really don't know if you'll need the book you rented. The book sat on the shelf for the whole semester. All in all, wouldn't recommend this store at all and their attitude should improve drastically. Very disappointed.

Being a campus bookstore, it's natural to find things to be over priced. However, in regards to containing all the textbooks you'll actually need for your courses, I've never had any issues. It's rather convenient and has a nice collection of books, in addition to IIT gear. Definitely worth getting a book from, or, at the very least, purchasing something to represent yourself as a proud Hawk.

Staff is always very helpful. One particular case was when I was asking about online access for a calculus class, the girl working saved me about a hundred dollars because I was about to buy it but she told me I might still have access to the website from the previous semester. Go Hawks!
