Haunted Burrow Books

I heard about this new horror themed bookstore on TikTok and decided to drive out of my way for it during my recent trip to Seattle. We have a similar place that just opened here in Portland (even in a similar neighborhood) called Midslumber Media, but this store is a lot bigger and features way more local art, which I love! They even had a bunch of different zines. I love that they went all out with the aesthetic.

What a wonderful bookstore. I am an avid reader of sci fi and fantasy and I was delighted to find extensive collections of my favorite authors in this shop. The owner gave me a bunch of very interesting read suggestions and I am anxious to give them a try. Go ahead and visit this little gem, talk to people, discuss books, get recommendations! You won't find anything like that on the internet anymore. Such an authentic experience!! Thank you, and I will be back

The owner, Roxanne (sp?), is so kind and Haunted Burrow has a wonderful curated collection of dark literature! Classic gothic tales, dark fantasy, horror, and so much more in this cute, spooky little shop. 10/10 recommend – shop local always

Stopped by while I was back in town during the holidays and left with a bounty of books recommended by Roxanne. Just finished 'The Last House on Needless' street and it was an excellent read and looking forward to diving into the other books I bought. I may have to stop by for more before departing back to NYC 😁
