Half Price Books

Theres always something good here. They have not only books and magazines but they also have comic books, albums, music CDs, DVDs, Video Games, Legos and so much more. My family and I love HPB

Their shady buying practices have been somewhat legendary for decades. I generally give my unwanted books to the library for their sale, but had three books in my car the other day. Half Price books is beside the grocery store I used. So after grocery shopping I took the 3 books to 1/2 Price and sold them for $2. I thought that was low but didn't care. I figured if they only gave me $2 they'd be selling them for $12 total. It was $2 towards my next book which I bought then. A couple days later I sa2 my three books on the shelf for a total price $24. I'm no mathematicians but a 1200 percent markup seems a bit scammy.

I love half priced books, especially this location particular. The staff is always friendly and helpful, and the prices of the books are a steal! I always love to go in and see what deals they may have. I recommend this store to all my family and friends.

It's a nice store and I would recommend it for purchasing BUT Not for selling. A lot of it has to do with this specific location because you definitely get more at other half Price books locations for your stuff and even other companies that do the same in the Cincinnati area. It's laughable really the amount they give you for your items. I have taken in tote bags full of books videos and all kinds of items with many being popular items and have received a total of $10 for about 400 items and I'm not kidding 😆 People don't read especially books and reselling them is proof of that! Sad…

One of my favorite stores . Can't have enough books or read enough . It was a busy ,found what I wanted checked out quickly and the staff was very friendly . A wonderful experience.
