Galveston Bookshop

Cozy, whimsical, and historical is how I would describe the Galveston Bookshop. Walking in felt like walking into a storybook waiting to be read. With the many quiet nooks, you’re bound to find a quiet place to sit and read.nIt’s a used bookstore with a broad selection of genres. They also sell records which would be perfect for collectors. I bought a new journal from their many gorgeous journal designs.nMy daughter stumbled upon some books she had her eye on for some time. The store is huge so I’m sure you’d find something worthwhile.nI was looking for some philosophy books and the attendant led me right to them. I was happy to see that the prices were reasonable and within my budget. This helps when you’re a bibliophile like me.nThis bookstore felt like it has its roots in Galveston. It’s a well-known local used bookstore you’ll be happy to visit.nMe and my daughter's left with some gems we can't wait to sink into.

Super cute book store! Cozy feeling and feels welcoming. The staff was friendly and greeted everyone who came in. They were also supper helpful with trying to find the right size shirt for me! 💜❤️ Definitely a spot to visit and we will for sure be back when we come down this way. They had a vast selection to choose from and some old and new. Also, there shirts are great!

We enjoy stopping here on our trips to Galveston.nThe bookstore is decorated outside so cute it makes you want to stop. It is a busy store with lots of foot traffic. The store is small so a lot has to fit in it but it is a bit crowded for my liking. It is hard to find things and hard to pass people. They did not have a new book that was out and a popular book at that.nThe staff is friendly and knowledgeable and the bookstore is next to a pub so if some of your party is not into books they can get libations next door while you shop.nThe bookstore location is great. I recommend you add this stop to your day when you are visiting Galveston. We will be back again. Thank you

Stopped in at this little bookstore, it's kind of hidden. 2 story with a nice selection of used vinyl. It's got a very cozy feeling and is awesome in the summer or winter.

I had a great time looking around. A large selection of books new, used and collectibles. I bought a blank notebook.
