What a delight! This is the most amazing ongoing book sale to benefit a library I've ever seen. Many libraries have small areas dedicated to book sales…this is a full-fledged shop.nBeautifully organized, well priced, with a wonderful selection that is varied and good quality – the cherry on top is the amazing staff is volunteers. They are friendly and helpful and clearly care about books.nNo matter what genre you prefer, they're sure to have a selection.nStreet parking is easy here. Highly recommended to thrifty bibliphiles.

Nice clean, quiet and quaint store with a nice selection of books. Volunteer staff is helpful and friendly. Takes me back a few years when small book stores were more prevalent. Overall a good experience that will keep me coming back.

Mask still required despite vaccination status (I’m triple vaccinated) and no county mandate for ~6 months. I didn’t have one on hand so I drove 10 minutes to the Pleasant Hill Friends Book Store. Highly recommend the Pleasant Hill store – it’s roomy, has a great selection, and you can see some other smiling faces while you shop

Our favorite little book store! This store sells donated books for $1-$3 and the proceeds help benefit the Lafayette public library. The women who volunteer there are simply lovely and very helpful. Always enjoy scoring a bargain there.

This place has just increased their prices 250% post Covid. All books are donated and staff is volunteers. No reason other than greed for such an increase. Prices are still reasonable, but I will be going there a lot less and being much more selective. And I won't recommend them as highly.
