FDR Memorial Bookstore

Like another Reviewer said that they won't allow reviews on the monument itself we will leave it here. Definitely an underrated memorial in comparison to Lincoln or Jefferson but this one is massive in scale and just kept going on and on. 4 term president lent itself to many memorable quotes and actions. Lots of water features and statues throughout. Bookstore was small and the bathrooms were out of order. Worth the visit for sure.

The FDR Memorial is a beautifully designed tribute that captures the essence of Franklin D. Roosevelt's legacy. The bookstore is a great place with lots of merchandise and souvenirs. They also have a bunch of passport stamps here. One of the park rangers here have me a one hour guided tour of the memorial. I was here on a Saturday afternoon around 3:30 PM, and since there was nobody else waiting for the guided tour, I got a one hour tour of the memorial. The park ranger was very kind and knowledgeable and I had the chance to learn so much about the FDR memorial!

For some reason, it won't let me review the park itself, so I'm leaving it here. The FDR Memorial Park is one of the most underrated attractions in Washington, with beautiful waterfalls and statues. If you're looking for something to do in D.C, consider the FDR memorial.

The FDR memorial is dedicated to the only President elected for four terms. The artwork and decor celebrate the challenges and triumphs thy he accomplished during his White House years. A good cost and recommended.
