What a wonderful bookshop and the store owner was a pleasure to converse with. You can hear his passion for books in his voice.nnAnyway, we had planned a weekend trip to Carlsbad and searched for used bookstores in the area and Farenheit came up. So glad we stopped in and were able to walk out with a few books.nnMany vintage finds for all you collectors. Look closely and carefully as there are so many nooks and crannies in the shop where hidden gems can be found. You can find art books to cookbooks to history books.nnPlease note that the shop's lease for this location is up soon. If you and anyone know of a space in Carlsbad Village, please contact the store owner Philip. He and this community deserve to have a bookstore.nnWe are never too old or too young to learn. Grab a book and enjoy a good read! Lookout for the bargain books!nnAnd I loved the music played during our shopping experience, French jazz, which set the mood for our lunch in a local French cafe.nnSupport this small business and stimulate the local economy and our brains!

A very quaint used bookstore with anything you can imagine. The owner is very friendly and informative. They carry from antique books to new releases. If you are a book lover, I recommend a trip here for sure.

Such a cool place! Bookstore with a decent selection of recent releases, but the huge collection of the used books and vintage art is where it’s at! They have a ton of discounted books in every category. A fun place to browse around for a long time. The person behind the counter was also really nice and chatted with us for a while. My only wish is that I had the ability to spend on a beautiful piece of vintage art! There are some real gems there.

This address leads to a house, not a store. Apple Maps says that this store is closed permanently.nn-Edit. The one star is a review for Google Maps – not for an Indy Bookseller! I hope you find a retail store soon, Phil.

Excellent bookstore, kind and helpful staff, nice variety of genres, fair pricing for both everyday reading and collectables.
