CSN Charleston Bookstore

Do not purchase books here . Get them on eBay or anywhere else . 300$ worth of books and they are priced like $5-$30 on eBay .. the book store sold them at this price used too . They also told me that I could come back later and get 50% of my money back . When I came back they said I had a certain timeframe I needed to come back in for that promotion. At time of purchase this timeframe was not explained.nPlan ahead, don’t be forced into buying used books at crazy prices

Very bad experience at CSN Library, West Charleston. I purchased my books online on August 26 and by September 16 they are still not available for pick up. They already charged the money, but when you call the library nobody knows how to help you. They send you to a person you cannot call, only text, and I’ve been waiting 6 days without any response.nnClasses have already been going on for 3 weeks and I still don’t have my materials. The staff don’t know what they are doing and show no interest in helping. As of today, they cannot give me a refund, don’t know where my books are, and don’t know what is happening.nnMeanwhile, I have to spend more money to buy my books and expensive programs again, or else I will fail my classes. To make things worse, when you log into the library system with your student number, the “required books” they give you are the wrong ones.nnThey charge you, don’t deliver, don’t help, and don’t resolve anything. I do not recommend buying books here.

The CSN book store was very easy to find and the people working here are very helpful with finding what types of books you need for your classes. But outside the bookstore its confusing because they have ashtray laying everywhere but no smoking signs.

HORRIBLE!!! Order your textbooks elsewhere! Last semester, they posted the wrong book for one of my courses, and this year, I paid for expedited shipping because I waited until my syllabus was out to ensure I had the correct book. Despite this, almost a week later, I still haven't received it! I called their useless customer service number in another country, and I was told they are having IT issues! REALLY, when was I going to be notified????? What an absolute JOKE!nI hate leaving negative reviews, but I do not want another student to trust this bookstore!

Please fire the lady that was working online pickup on 8/28 12pm. She has a nasty attitude & looks like she don’t want to help students out. Not sure if she was having a bad day, but if that’s how she acts everyday, she need Jesus in her life. 😂
