A Glorious MadnessnnYou must give yourself the gift of time here. The books are shelved by subject, but not always by athor’s name, Also, if you are interested in genre books such as horror, fantasy, or science fiction, be aware that you will have to search the stacks carefully and a couch at the back of the store groans under the weight of a plethora of miscellaneous books that beg to be searched.nnNonetheless, the time spent will rewarrd the most dedicated bibliophile and I found two rare books at a very reasonable price.nnI found the owner persoanble and likeable.nnEasily five stars.
The hours are limited, which for me makes it difficult to get to when they are open. On my first visit, I browsed an excellent selection of older titles, many out of print. The place is well organized, 4/5. Part of the store is organized, with well-labeled shelves and other parts look like some dusty chaos they'll get around to eventually—a little bit of everything for the family. We found a small children's section and a relatively large section of sci-fi and fantasy.nnAfter visiting this shop a few times, I've noticed that the inventory might not turn over a lot. Everything is clean, gently used, and well-priced.nnThe owner is friendly and knowledgeable, and the best part of visiting this store is the small dogs that inhabit it. They have a reading couch, and the dogs love to cuddle with anyone in the store.
my sister and i were walking around and found this shop. we loved it & will be returning again! the owner is a very nice man, he was so kind. we were walking around and came across gus (owners dog) who is just adorable & the sweetest little thing! highly recommend this shop! 🙂
Love, love, LOVE this store!!!! The man who owns it is so nice, and his dogs make wonderful shopping companions. He has all sorts of different types of books. Trade paperbacks, first editions, some comic books, if I remember correctly. He even has neat furniture that he uses to display and store books. Prices are reasonable based on the condition of the book and/or age, as far as antiques are concerned. Go visit them! You won't be disappointed.
I absolutely loved wandering into this store. I found fascinating reads and the owner was so kind (as well as the dog)! I hope it reopens soon
