Bryn Mawr Book Store

We have wanted to come for awhile but kept getting the days and times mixed up. So glad we came!! Parking wasn't bad midday on Wednesday and each month there's a special. This July is half off fiction. Super staff!!

Awesome book store. Very friendly staff. Great variety and quality. Sales by genre each month – big sale in December. Has become a family favorite!

Lovely little used book store, tons and tons of used book. I got an old Bible (1869) for only $4, and the Moynihan Report on U.S. race relations for only $1. There was a really kind older lady who helped me find what I was looking for and was so happy to be of assistance. It is a truly wonderful feeling place. Highly recommend.

I do not recommend donating your books here. I called and spoke to two people about the books I wished to donate and they agreed that I should come that afternoon. I lugged the books over there, arriving 1.5 hours after the phone call, and was told they weren't taking any book donations. Don't waste your time with this organization. If you wish to donate books, try 'More Than Words'. They are mission driven, helping young people, and they are a joy to work with.

A gem of a bookshop filled with books from many genres. They have many sets of bound books, a well stocked literary criticism section, lovely art books and an interesting history selection. There is also a nice children's section full of nostalgic books! Helpful staff, neat aisles and very reasonably priced books. There is street parking and quite a few very good eateries and specialty shops on Huron Ave.
