Books are Awesome

Books are awesome is obviously run by someone who loves books! They store was beautifully layed out with great options. It was also not too packed that you couldn't see the titles or covers. I usually just like to wonder and let the books speak to me as to what I should read next. This was great set up to do just that. I will definitely stop in again.

Visiting family and Denver and checked IndieBound for some local bookstores and came across Books are Awesome! Val (and forgive me, I did not catch the other’s name) and the other worker there were extremely helpful and selected so many wonderful options to fit my request for their “weird wacky and wonderful!” and any that have interesting, non-traditional formats/timelines/point of views. Recs upon recs I have never heard of! Not only did they provide greate recs, they were incredibly friendly!nnThe store itself is clean and well-organized, offering places for new releases, genres, monthly tables, and a staff recs section!nnAs i buy all their recommendations (which i undoubtedly will!) I’ll be continuing to support them on bookshop!

What a delightful bookstore! I found this place through a Google Search, and appreciated their website, and particularly all the Book Clubs they host there. I'd just moved to Parker and was looking for a way to make friends and expand my social circle, so I started attending both the Romance and Horror Book Clubs (yes, probably opposite ends of the spectrum, but they balance each other out!)nnThe Book Clubs are fun and dynamic, and we get into interesting discussions — even when we disagree, but there's an emphasis on respecting each other's opinions and keeping things civil and friendly. I've been going steadily for the past 7 months, and look forward to each session. Plus, I'm expanding my reading repertoire and trying books/authors I wouldn't normally try, and discovering some new gems that way!nnThe bookstore itself is well-stocked, inviting, and I appreciate how involved they are in the local community — teaming up with the local library or other businesses to host author signings, Book Fairs, and so on. It definitely provides that sense of community that you can't get from just ordering books online. I'm glad I get to support a locally-owned, independent bookstore, and feel like I'm part of an expanded family of book nerds who share a love of reading in all its many genres!

The women at the desk did an amazing job helping me find the books I didn't know how to express I wanted . It is cute , clean and has a section for signed books. This is a must have to visit for book lovers . They had an amazing selection.

Amazing store that is filled to the brim with amazing picks! The staff is super friendly and welcoming, when I was in the store they made it feel like we were old friends. The other customers around seemed super happy too! Definitely will be buying from again. Probably my new favorite local shop
